The new Panorama 36 Retrofit features a combination of 10,000K white and 453nm blue LEDs to provide the perfect color rendition for marine, reef and freshwater aquariums.

Unlike traditional canopy retrofits, the new LED retrofit is designed to be mounted through the top of the canopy, providing an extremely efficient way for dissipating heat away from the aquarium water. This reduces the need for any loud cooling fans or water chillers. In addition, it’s small footprint (9.5” x 8.5”) makes it very modular and allows hobbyists to combine it with existing canopy lighting or with Ecoxotic’s Stunner LED strips and Panorama LED modules.
Inside each retrofit is 36 high power LED chips in both 10,000K white and 453nm actinic blue. Coupled with a polished angular reflector and an acrylic diffusing cover, the Panorama 36 LED Retrofit provides a perfect blend of light while also directing light into the aquarium for maximum penetration and shimmer.

I’m really curious about these fixtures.. I’m looking for the best option for a 25 gallon reef tank that I’ve been keeping for a long time. I’m looking to make the switch to LEDS. However would this fixture be good for something that is 24″ long 12″ deep, And roughly 12″ front to back? It almost seems like this would be too much.
