Ecoxotic Has Gone Retro at MACNA

We’re having a party at MACNA 2010 celebrating our latest product release, the Panorama LED Aquarium Retrofit. This latest product makes it easier than ever to brilliantly illuminate your aquarium and still keep things cool under your canopy. You can come check out its power and versatility at our MACNA booth.

This isn’t just any old party we’re having…we’re going RETRO! In our continual stance for Endangering the Status Quo™, we thought we’d go a bit over the top at MACNA and get dressed up for the event. Our booth and party hosts will be decked out in the retro stylings of bean bag chairs, platform shoes and polyester pants. Yeah, we may be a little crazy, but what can we say? We’re excited about our new retrofitted lighting!

Come join the party and you could win one of our new Panorama 36 LED Retrofits. Stop by our booth at MACNA and take a photo with our RetroBoys then email us your photo to info@ecoxotic.com. The funniest photo chosen wins one of our new Panorama 36 LED retrofits (retail value at $349.00). Entries will be accepted through Sunday, September 5, 2010 at 11:59 p.m. p.s.t. The winner will be announced on Wednesday, September 8, 2010.

Be sure to check out Ecoxotic’s other displays in the MACNA Exhibitor hall like Oceans Reef & Aquariums (ORA). ORA will be decked out with Ecoxotic lighting, including our new Cannon LED pendants. Our good friends Live Aquaria will be featuring our LED cube aquarium & Panorama LED light fixture. Sustainable Aquatics has a nice cubed aquarium with a Panorama LED light fixture and Marine Ornamental Fish & Invertebrate Breeders (MOFIB) will have an aquarium retrofitted with our lighting as well.

We look forward to having you join our RETRO party and sending in your pictures. Have a great time at MACNA everyone!

looks like a great light. my tank is 72″L X 36″ W X 24″ Tall, how many of these would i need? how big is the tank in the video?

    Hi Wes,

On a 72″L x 36″W tank, you will likely only need to use 3-4 of these. They produce a nice 24″x24″ spread, and will penetrate to your depth just fine. The tank in the video is 70 gallons.
